2012 Olympic Games

The following areas have been designated Delivery Restricted Areas:

1. Olympic Venues- London and Outside
2. Olympic Route Network/Paralympic Route Network (ORN/PRN)
3. Westfield Shopping Centre

The Olympic games start on the 16th July and finish on the 12th August and the Paralympic Games start on the 29th August and finish on the 10th September with a "transition period" between these two events.  An official "lockdown" will be imposed, we believe, from the begining of June until 10th Septermber during which time we will be unable to make deliveries as normal in the above areas.

Olympic venues - London and outside

Deliveries to Olympic Venues can not be made by our usual carrier.  Deliveries can only be made by UPS who are the approved olympic transport carrier.  As such there would be a surcharge for these deliveries of £200 per item.

Olympic Route Network/Paralympic Route Network

Any deliveries on the above routes will be subject to tight restriction and temporary changes.  If you delivery point is on one of these routes you should advise us how the delivery could be made.  We can only offer a delivery service on these routes between Midnight and 6am.  There would be a delivery surcharge for these deliveries of £155 per item.

Westfield Stratford City Shopping Centre

With regard to the Westfield City Shopping Centre, there will be normal access until "Lockdown" on the 6th June after which all deliveries will be via the DHL consolidation centre.  We can delivery to the DHL consolidation centre, it is the customers responsibility to arrange forward shipment from there.  As such we will class the DHL consolodation centre as our final delivery point, any claims for damages and shortages will be rejected if not signed for as such at the DHL consolodation centre.

Please be aware that events are taking place in London and around the country which may affect you deliveries.  Listed below are the venue sites, both in and outside the capital;

Horse Gaurds Parade
Hyde Park
Lords Cricket Ground
North Greenwich Arena
Wimbledon
Brands Hatch
City of Coventry Stadium
Eton Dorney
Hadleigh Farm
Hampden Park
Lee Valley White Water Centre
Millenium Stadium
Old Trafford
St James' Park
Weymouth and Portland.

All other deliveries to the South-East are unaffected except that we expect increased traffic congestion in Greater London.  You may experience delays in deliveries even if you are outside the ORN/PRN/Venues/Westfield.
